Devoteam goes to Microsoft Inspire 2018
Devoteam is on the ground and live from Microsoft Inspire 2018, held at Las Vegas this week. For those of you who don’t know it, this is an annual international conference which brings together Partners and the 40,000 people from Microsoft on-site to meet and get inspired over four days!
For those of you who can’t make the 2018 edition, let us share some insights we’ve learned so far, in terms of technological innovation, solution strategy, and go-to-market initiatives.
Key Takeaways for Day One:
- Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella kicked off this year’s Microsoft Inspire with an exciting keynote speech about Digital transformation. Nadella detailed the four pillars of digital transformation: Modern workplace, Business applications, Applications and Infrastructure, Data and AI.
- Ron Huddleston, CVP, Microsoft One Commercial Partner, showcased Microsoft’s solution areas and that Microsoft is investing $250 million to reduce friction and help partners better connect with their customers. The key grounds for which would be in Gaming, Modern Life, Modern Workplace, Business Applications, Applications & Infrastructure and Data & AI.
- For other solutions such as Modern Workplace, they also introduced the freemium version of Microsoft Teams and threw a light on how Dynamic 365 will be fueling Digital Transformation.
- Finally, They launched Microsoft 365 Enterprise and Microsoft 365 Business. Microsoft 365 Enterprise is designed for larger organisations whereas Microsoft 365 Business is designed for small and medium sized businesses.
