Devoteam will co-sponsor the ServiceNow User Group to be held on Tuesday 5th February 2019 at the prestigious Glaziers Hall in 9 Montagu Place, London SE1.
DevOps and ServiceNow
DevOps has become a mainstream activity for many organisations, as they seek to increase agility and customer-centricity while moving away from traditional ITIL ways of working (such as Change Advisory Boards).
Our speaker, Graham Zabel, Head of DevOps at Devoteam UK and until September 2018 held that position at a major investment bank for five years, will draw on his experience of DevOps vs ITIL in banking to show how organisations can optimise their investment in the ServiceNow platform through DevOps, by building strong data architecture and automating manual processes within their tooling ecosystem.
Graham will offer his vision for the future, discussing how ServiceNow can form the core of the automation platform and describe the factors required for success. Graham is an acknowledged expert on this topic and accomplished speaker on the topic of DevOps at Scale and DevOps within financial services organisations.
Governance, Regulation and Compliance (GRC)
Yann Bouvier, Head of GRC at Devoteam and a former CISO, will speak about the successful GRC implementations he has led at Novartis and Danske Bank. Yann will show how GRC users can leverage their existing ITSM implementation to maximise the available benefits of GRC to simplify the implementation.
Network facilitation
The UK SNUG offers a number of facilitation sessions where delegates join one or more tables of expertise to resolve the issues they may have around the many disciplines within ServiceNow. Graham and Yann will also facilitate discussion at table sessions for their respective areas of expertise.
Agenda
Devoteam will host a post-event gathering from 16:00 until 19:00 at the Barrowboy & Banker PH at London Bridge (just up the steps by the side of the Glaziers Hall).
