Devoteam is pleased to announce that we have been awarded Cyber Essentials certification, an important cyber security standard to certify that an organisation has taken steps to protect its systems from internet-based attacks.
In a bid to heighten awareness of cyber security, HM Government had published a guide, 10 Steps to Cyber Security, before introducing its certification programme to reduce cyber attacks and make the UK safer for businesses to work online.
The programme is dedicated to the protection of an organisation’s IT system from internet-originated threats. It sets out clearly in five areas the fundamental controls organisations should put in place to offset the risk posed by attackers using easily available malware:
