The challenge
With more than 200 years in the business, Gleerups is at the forefront of the Swedish educational system. While Gleerups is the owner of more than 40% market share for digital learning, more should be done in staying ahead of the competition.
Partnering with Devoteam on this project, Gleerups wanted to create the next generation educational Cloud-based web platform. This way, providing more benefits to both teachers and students while remaining the leader in the future of learning.
The solution
Devoteam’s creative tech team’s know-how and Gleerups’ education reputation made for a perfect combination in creating the future of interactive learning including exercises, videos and specific tools.
This was done by conducting user research, feature-focused workshops, and AWS and Kubernetes-managed apps.
Gleerups also opened up as a free for all platform as COVID-19 spread in the spring of 2020. This led to a drastic increase of users in a short time, revealing the platform’s strengths and weaknesses.
Changes will be made accordingly to further simplify the user experience from user tests and data.
