Within the Google Cloud platform, I specialized in Infrastructure and within Devoteam G Cloud I work as a Presales Engineer in the Infrastructure area.

Could you share some examples of real projects you have worked on as a Presales Cloud Architect?
Sure! Most of the projects I have worked on consist of infrastructure deployments on Google Cloud or migrations from other environments to the Google Cloud environment, also migrations from On-Premise.
Some examples of projects in which I have participated are: Flexicar, Auro, NFQ, Voicemod, Techrules, Alcampo.
How do you collaborate with other teams or departments within Devoteam G Cloud?

What advice would you give to someone aspiring to become a Presales Cloud Architect at Devoteam G Cloud or in general?
How did you get to this position?
I started in the position as a pre-sales assistant during my university studies, while I was doing my external internship. After this period, I joined the team as a Presales Engineer. Since then, I have immersed myself in the Google Cloud world with Devoteam and have taken on more responsibilities over time.
What are, in your opinion, the daily responsibilities of a Presales Cloud Architect?
From my perspective, the daily responsibilities of a Presales Cloud Architect mainly involve excellent organization. The work is extremely dynamic, every day you deal with different issues with different customers. It is crucial to establish a clear order and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines for new project proposals. In addition, any doubts that may arise from proposals already submitted and ongoing projects must be resolved. It is also important to be present at meetings with new clients, participate in various technology events and keep up to date with the latest updates on Google Cloud.
What is the best thing about your job?
The dynamism. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities. Clients have different needs. Helping my clients achieve their goals and collaborating with my colleagues on exciting projects are definitely the best part of my day-to-day.
What are the most challenging aspects of your job as a Presales Cloud Architect and how do you overcome them?
Staying updated. Technology is constantly advancing, but I love to research and learn about the latest trends in the Google Cloud world to stay relevant and effective in my work. I’ve had a client ask me about a new API that I didn’t know about because of how new it was. So I always try to stay on top of what’s new.
Can you describe a project (or the current one) you have worked on as a Presales Cloud Architect and the steps you took to get it done?
Any client’s needs require hours of pre-sales work. We have to define which Google Cloud services meet the customer’s needs, always taking into account both technical and economic requirements. After designing the infrastructure to be deployed, a study of the monthly costs involved in this design must be carried out, as well as the effort of the technical team in configuring this infrastructure. Afterwards, all this work must be presented to the client and the project and its associated costs must be defended.
What makes this function challenging?
Convincing the skeptics. Some customers are not convinced of the benefits of the cloud, but with patience and solid arguments, we can change their perspective and show them the real value of Google Cloud.
Your job in 1 sentence?
Help customers meet their technology goals and to get modernized.
What is your best moment as a G Clouder?
My best moments are when I see the results of my work! Whether it’s at events where I connect with clients or at team meetings where we share ideas to keep improving and growing.
How would you describe your team? How do you move together?
We consider ourselves a very close team. I love a phrase that one of my colleagues always repeats: when someone faces a problem and doesn’t know how to solve it, that problem becomes everyone’s responsibility, and we unite to solve it together. I believe this philosophy is fundamental to our work and we strive to maintain it at all times.
Go big (GO BIG): what does it mean to you?
To keep learning, growing and beating our accomplishments.
Can you give an example of an occasion when you performed in a big way?
I have in mind the day I had the opportunity to give a talk in an auditorium during an event organized by Devoteam G Cloud. It was my first experience speaking in front of a large audience, and I must admit that I exceeded my own expectations. I felt a great satisfaction in facing that challenge and it was very comforting.
Your job in 1 word is … ?
Communication.
It is essential for me to communicate effectively with my clients and colleagues, establish a collaborative and trusting work environment, and contribute to the success of our goals and projects.
